The far-sighted & progressive thoughts of His Holiness Shri. Gurubasava Mahaswamiji, Bilur, led to the genesis of Basaveshwara Veerashaiva Vidya Vardhaka Sangha (B.V.V Sangha) on 18 October 1906. Started with a humble goal as a Sanskrit Pathashala to impart ‘Sanskara’ to the younger generation through ‘value-based’ education, the activities of the Sangha have grown manifold. Today, more than 120 educational institutions spread across Bagalkot, Belgaum & Bilur (Maharashtra) stand a testimony to the Sangha’s stupendous contribution to the field of education.

With a sole vision to provide management education & develop an inter-disciplinary approach in all the areas of management, B.V.V Sangha established B.V.V Sangha’s Institute of Management Studies in the year 1998. Better known as BIMS Bagalkot, the institution aims at imparting each & every student with competitive management skills & empowering them to be a global citizen of tomorrow.

Affiliated to Rani Chennamma University, Belagavi & recognized by AICTE, New Delhi, the institution follows 50% merit & 50% towards management quote as part of their admission policy.
